In December 2022, the European Institute for Integrated Prevention completed the implementation of the international project Youth Positive Potential within the framework of the Erasmus Plus Action KA2 programme, Strategic Partnerships section (no 2019-1-MT01 KA 201-051251).
The Life Network Malta Foundation conducted the project from January 2020 in cooperation with the European Institute for Integrated Prevention Foundation (Warsaw, Poland), Vilniaus Pedagogine Psichologine Tarnyba (Vilnius, Lithuania), and Ostoja Foundation (Nowy Sącz, Polska).
The most important results of the project include:
1. Adaptation of the Polish Archipelago of Treasures integrated prevention programme to the cultural and educational conditions of Malta and Lithuania (internationalization of the AoT programme).
2. Training and certification of trainer teams of the Archipelago of Treasures programme in Malta and Lithuania.
3. Conducting a study of school-aged youth on their positive developmental potential and risk behaviours in Malta, Lithuania and Poland. See the Publications tab for detailed results of the representative survey of Maltese youth and its reviews.
4. We have received information from the Lithuanian partner that in Vilnius, the implementation of the Archipelago of Treasures integrated prevention programme for the next 6 years (until 2029) has been secured.
Thanks to the aforementioned project, the Polish integrated prevention programme for school-aged youth, developed by IPZIN and implemented with good results on mass scale in Poland, has been internationalized. The EIIP team thanks the project partners for their fruitful cooperation.
